You’ll receive every payment you earn through PayPal. This means it’s important that your PayPal account is set up correctly.
Here are a few best practices to help you get started:
- Follow PayPal’s use policies
- Connect your PayPal and UserTesting accounts
- Don’t share your PayPal account
- Contact PayPal about payment issues
Follow PayPal’s use policies
PayPal has certain policies you must follow to use its products and services. We recommend you visit PayPal’s Help Center to learn more about using your account.
Payment regulations often are different depending on where you live. As a result, PayPal has rules you must follow if you live in a certain country or if you move to a new country. You should understand these policies to make sure you get your UserTesting payments on time.
Moving to a new country
Unfortunately, PayPal doesn’t allow you to change the country on your account. If you’ve moved to another country, you’ll have to create a new PayPal account. Learn more about PayPal’s address change policy
Once you’ve done this, you should connect the new PayPal account to your UserTesting account.
Connect your PayPal and UserTesting accounts
Please directly connect your PayPal to your UserTesting account. This is the best way to prevent any delays or other payment issues.
Don’t share your PayPal account
You shouldn't share your PayPal account with another contributor. In other words, you and another contributor should never use the same PayPal. This violates our Contributor Terms of Service and Contributor Code of Conduct.
If you do so, we’ll deactivate your account and you won't be able to rejoin the Contributor Network.
Contact PayPal about payment issues
Payment issues usually happen because there’s something wrong with your PayPal account. To fix these issues as quickly as possible, you should contact PayPal’s Support team.
