The information in your profile is used to match you with appropriate tests. Customers pay to hear from contributors that match the profile of their target user. Having accurate and up-to-date information will help you qualify for as many tests as possible. You risk receiving a low rating from a customer if the information in your profile does not match the information you provide during a test. We will not use this information for any other purpose. Why should I complete my profile?
Our customers design their tests based on the information available in your profile. If your profile is out of date, you could be missing out on tests that match your experiences. Tests are distributed based on the information in your profile. Contributors with blank profiles won't be matched to as many tests.
When should I update my profile?
You are responsible for keeping your profile accurate and up-to-date. If you've started a new job, had a change in income, or experienced any other major life change recently, make sure to update your profile to reflect those changes.
Which country do I choose?
Select the country where you are currently physically located. This is not necessarily the country of your birth or citizenship. When customers want to hear from a contributor in a particular country, they want contributors who are physically located there. If traveling out of the country, please do not participate in user testing while away. Read more here.
Which children should I list on my profile?
This field is intended for parents or legal guardians of children under 18. Please do not use this field for your siblings who are under 18.
If you are not comfortable providing the age of your children, you have the option to select "Prefer not to provide details".
How do I fill out my employment information?
Your employment information should always reflect what you are currently doing. You may still participate in tests that require your previous work experience and/or tests that ask you for a specific skill set when you self-qualify for those tests through the screener process.
When customers screen for contributors from a particular industry or job role, they are typically looking for contributors who are currently employed in that field. It is your responsibility to make sure that your employment information is accurate and up-to-date. If you have questions about filling out your profile, please contact our support team.
What if I have more than one job?
If you have more than one job, please select the appropriate information for the job where you spend the most time. You may still participate in tests that require your other work experience and/or tests that ask you for a specific skill set when you self-qualify for those tests through the screener process.
If you have questions about filling out your profile, please contact our support team.
Remember to make sure to click “Save Profile” when you are finished editing.
During a test, if you feel you aren’t qualified to provide detailed feedback, simply leave the test by quitting or reporting a problem.
