If you mute your microphone during your practice test, your recording will be paused. To continue with your test, you'll need to unmute your microphone. Similarly, your recording will automatically pause, if you accidentally stop sharing your screen.
To fix your microphone or screen recording settings in Safari, just review these instructions:
Unmute your microphone in Safari
1. To unmute your microphone in Safari, click the red rectangles next to the address bar.
2. Click Unmute. The error message will disappear, and you'll be able to continue with your test.
Reshare your screen in Safari
1. To reshare your screen after you accidentally blocked the permission, click on the bolded text in the error banner. This will reopen the permission window.
2. When you see the window, click Allow. The error message will disappear, and you'll be able to complete your test.
