- Take a practice test
Curious about the practice test? Find out what to expect.
Is there an age requirement to join?
Yes, you must be at least 18 years old to apply.
Does it matter where I live?
No! We welcome contributors from around the world. 🌍
Are there any language requirements?
We currently support testing in English, French, and German. To apply, you’ll need to speak, read, and write fluently in one of these supported languages.
Can I reapply?
Yes, but only once. If your application isn’t successful the first time, you're welcome to try again.
How soon can I start taking tests?
Once you complete all tasks in your applicant checklist—including your practice test—you’ll be able to view available tests on your dashboard.
If you're ready to start your application (or just curious about what to expect), you can review our guidelines for taking the practice test on a desktop or mobile device.
How much do tests pay?
Each test pays differently depending on things like test type, duration, and customer demand. You’ll always know how much a test pays before you accept it.
When do I get my test payments?
We send each test payment to your PayPal account, where it usually arrives 14 days after you complete your test.
Is PayPal the only way to get paid?
Yes, you must have a verified PayPal account to receive payments. To learn more, check out our PayPal Verification Guide.
Are my payments taxed?
UserTesting doesn’t withhold any taxes. You’re responsible for reporting your income as required in your country.
