How email notifications work
You’ll receive an email anytime a new test is available.
Email notifications aren’t available for surveys yet, but you can still use sound notifications!
How sound notifications work
Sound notifications are only available when you’re logged into your account from a computer. You’ll hear a chime whenever a new test appears on your test feed.
Sound notifications for surveys will only work when the Surveys tab is open.
How available test counts work
The UserTesting tab in your browser window will also update to show the number of new tests available since you last refreshed your test feed.
Your dashboard will also display the number of new tests next to the Surveys and more page. Surveys are a new part of the contributor experience! As a new feature, the Surveys tab might not be available on your dashboard. Find out how to take surveys.
How to change your notification settings
- Log into your dashboard from a computer.
- Open your dashboard menu and click Settings.
- Scroll to Notification Preferences.

Toggle the Email and Sounds options as needed. You can change these settings at any time.
