Customers can cancel your payment if you submit an incomplete test or violate the Contributor Code of Conduct.
Here are some common reasons for canceled payments:
- Not meeting the customer's requirements
- Submitting an incomplete test
- Uploading a short and superficial video
Not meeting the customer’s requirements
In addition to screener questions, some customers include special requirements on their test invitations. For example, they might include a requirement that you “must be a Facebook user” or “must be a small business owner.” The customer can cancel your payment if you don't meet those requirements but accept the test anyway.
Submitting an incomplete test
Always carefully read the task instructions to avoid submitting an incomplete test. When you upload an unfinished test, customers can't use your feedback in their research. If a technical issue prevents you from completing a task, you should report a problem.
Uploading a short and superficial video
On average, customers expect a 15-minute recording. Although we understand some tests might include just a few tasks, you should always provide thorough responses and even take additional time to discuss your thoughts in more detail.
