Our UserTesting App for iOS allows you to view and take tests directly from your iOS devices. This article will help you get started with taking tests on your iPhone or iPad, and hopefully will answer any questions you might have!
Q. What are the requirements for running the UserTesting app on iOS?
A. You have a version of iOS 13 or higher, 400MB of free space when you try to take a test, and at least 20% battery life. We strongly recommend that you connect to a Wi-Fi network when you upload your completed test, rather than relying on your cellular service. Wi-Fi is faster and more reliable.
Q. How can I take a test using the UserTesting app on iOS?
A. First, download and install the app. Click here to learn how.
Once you have installed the UserTesting App for iOS, you can sign in to your mobile dashboard to see what tests may be available. By default, your mobile dashboard will display all tests currently available for you to take on your iPhone or iPad.
For your convenience, tap Menu to view Tests for Other Devices such as your computer.
If you are interested in a test for your computer or other mobile device, sign in to that device to view the test. If you're not interested, you can also decline tests that require a computer or other device from the All Tests view.
Q. I got a test on my computer dashboard that says I have to use the UserTesting app to take it. What does that mean?
A. These tests can only be taken on a mobile device with the UserTesting app. To take the test, install the app on your mobile device and log in. The test will display on your mobile dashboard.
Q. I can't pass the microphone check. What's going on?
A. First, make sure you're not covering the microphone on your device. This can make your audio muffled and block you from passing the microphone check. If you have checked to make sure you aren't covering your microphone and you are still unable to pass the microphone check, try uninstalling and reinstalling the UserTesting App for iOS.
