Can I change my display language on the UserTesting platform?

The UserTesting platform is now available in English, German, and French! To experience our platform in German or French, you can simply change the language settings of your browser or device. See detailed instructions below. If you need further assistance, please contact our Support Team.

Change your display language on a computer:

Change your display language on a mobile device:

Chrome

  1. Click the three dots on your browser window.

  2. Select Settings from the dropdown menu.

  3. Scroll down and click to open the Advanced section, then click the arrow next to Language to open the options.

  4. Click Add language to add a supported language to your list (English, German, or French).

  5. Click the three dots next to your preferred language, then select Move to the top.

  6. Restart your browser and return to UserTesting. The platform will now display in your preferred language!

 

Firefox

  1. Click on the menu icon on your browser window.

  2. Select Settings from the dropdown menu.

  3. Scroll to the Language section in Language and Appearance, and then click Choose… next to Choose your preferred language for displaying pages.

  4. In the pop-up window, click Select a language to add… and search for a supported language (English, German, or French).

  5. Click Add to confirm your selection.

  6. Restart your browser and return to UserTesting. The platform will now display in your preferred language!

 

Safari

  1. Click the Apple, then select System Preferences.

  2. Click on Language & Region, and then select the Apps tab.

  3. Click the add button (+), then select a supported language (English, Deutsch, or Français).

  4. Click Add, and then click Relaunch Now to apply your change.

  5. Return to UserTesting. The platform will now display in your preferred language!

 

Edge

  1. Click the three dots on your browser window.

  2. Select Settings from the dropdown menu.

  3. In the Languages section, click Add languages.

  4. Search for a supported language (English, German, or French) and click Add.

  5. Click the three dots next to your preferred language, then select Move to the top.

  6. Restart your browser and return to UserTesting. The platform will now display in your preferred language!

 

iOS

  1. Go to Settings > General > Language & Region > iPhone Language.

  2. Search for a supported language (English, German, or French) and then tap the button to Change to [your selected language]. Your iOS device will restart at this point.

  3. When you return to the UserTesting app after your device restarts, the app will display in your preferred language!

Android

There are many different devices that use the Android operating system, and each of those devices has different settings. For device-specific instructions on how to change your preferred language, please perform a Google search for “change language settings on a (insert device model)” and follow the instructions.
