How do I sign up on a mobile device? – Contributor Support Center

Thanks for your interest in becoming a UserTesting contributor. This article explains how to join the Contributor Network from your mobile device.

If you prefer to sign up from a computer, you can! Learn how to sign up on a computer instead.

To start the application process, you need to:

Review our system requirements
Download the UserTesting app
Create your UserTesting account

When you complete these steps, you'll have access to your UserTesting account. From there, you can view your applicant checklist. Your applicant checklist includes the tasks you need to complete before you can join the Contributor Network:

Once you've completed each task on the applicant checklist and we've approved your practice test, you'll be ready to start taking tests!

Start the application process

1. Review our system requirements.

Before you sign up, please make sure your mobile device meets our minimum requirements.

iOS

Operating system: Two latest versions
Memory: At least 400MB of available space on your device
At least 20% battery life when you try to take a test

Android

Operating system: Android OS 10.0 or higher
Memory: At least 400MB of available space on your device
At least 20% battery life when you try to take a test

We don't recommend using Xiaomi devices with the UserTesting App for Android, as we have seen issues with these devices.

2. Download the UserTesting app.

3. Create your UserTesting account

To sign up, enter the email address you'd like to use for your UserTesting account, and then tap Create an account.

Next, you'll provide the personal information required to create your UserTesting account. These details include your first and last name, username, password, and zip code.

Once you've created your account, you can start working on your applicant checklist. This checklist includes each task you must complete before becoming a UserTesting contributor.

You can switch between your mobile device and computer to complete the checklist.
