How is my rating used?
Contributors with high ratings receive more test invites so that we can ensure that our customers receive quality feedback. Be sure to take your time to complete every test properly. If you run into a problem and are unable to complete tasks, report a problem instead of submitting an incomplete test. Incomplete tests will often result in 1- or 2-star ratings from customers.
How do I interpret a test rating?
We ask our customers to rate videos based on how helpful they are. Below is the rating scale that our customers use.
Why didn’t I receive a rating?
We understand that it’s frustrating when you don’t receive a rating on a test that you’ve put time and effort into, which is why we encourage our customers to rate tests as often as possible. However, customers are not required to rate tests, so not all of your tests will be rated, as it is ultimately up to our customers to do so. If your test isn't rated, it will not affect the number of test invitations you see.
How is my rating calculated?
Your rating is calculated by taking the average from your last 12 rated tests. For example, if you received a total of 57 stars from your last 12 rated tests, your rating would be 57 stars divided by 12 tests, which would result in a rating of 4.75 stars. We're unable to show this level of precision within our system, so this would show as a rating of 4.5 stars.
Customers also have the option of leaving a private rating. If your star rating changes on your dashboard but you don’t see any new ratings in your Test history, it’s possible a customer left a private rating on one of your tests.
What happens if I receive a low rating?
Because we want you to be successful on our platform, we review all 1- and 2-star rated tests to determine if the low rating is warranted or not. You'll receive an updated rating and additional comments or testing feedback on your dashboard once your low rating has been reviewed.

Can you review my 3-, 4-, or 5-star rated test?
Our Quality Team usually only reviews low ratings. Sometimes, they have more time to review other tests, but we can't guarantee any changes to your rating.
