If you completed a test and it isn't showing up yet, don't worry. This usually clears up on its own, but you can follow these steps to check your status.
Steps to check your test status
Confirm you reached the last screen
You'll know your test is complete when you reach the
All done!
screen. The exact wording on this screen can vary, but we'll always
confirm
that your test is finished. If you closed the window or app before
reaching it, your test may still show as in progress.
Check for an in progress message on your dashboard
The exact wording can vary depending on the test type, but you'll
see something indicating your test is still in progress, along with
an option to pick up where you left off. Select the option to continue
and complete your test.
If you don't see an option to continue, or the message doesn't clear after a while, your test may have been interrupted (for example, by a network issue or closing your browser or app mid-test). Learn what to do next.
Refresh your session
Log out of your UserTesting account, clear your browser cache (or
close and reopen the app on mobile), then log back in. This can help
pull in your latest test information. Here's how to clear your cache
in a few common browsers:
Give it a little extra time
Sometimes it takes a bit longer for a completed test to show up. Check
back in 24 hours before reaching out.
Still can't find your test?
If your test still isn't in your Test history after 24 hours, contact us with these details so we can look into it:
- Date and approximate time you completed the test
- Device type and browser you used (e.g., iPhone iOS 17 or Chrome on Windows)
- Your session ID, if you have it
Please note, if your test was interrupted before it reached the customer, we're unable to provide payment for that session. We appreciate your understanding, and hope your next test goes smoothly.
