What information can I change?
From your profile, you can update anything except for your age and country. This information is locked when you create your account.
If your birth year is incorrect, please contact Support.
If you’ve moved to a new country, you'll need to check and confirm a few details before submitting a change request.
- The country listed on your profile should match your country of residence (where you live most of the time).
- Take a break from testing when traveling outside your country.
For more information, please review our Contributor Code of Conduct and travel guidance.
How do I edit my profile?
On a computer, go to My profile > Edit Profile in your dashboard.
Make sure you've completed each section. Then click Save profile.
What happens if my information is false?
If you’re dishonest about who you are, customers will quickly realize this and report it. Because falsifying information in your contributor profile violates the Contributor Code of Conduct and Contributor Terms of Service, this may lead to removal from the Contributor Network.
When should I update my profile?
Update your profile anytime your job, income, or other key information changes. This helps us match you with the most relevant tests.
Why does my age look a little off in my profile?
The age in your profile is based on your birth year and not your full birth date. That means it might appear off by a year depending on when your birthday falls.
This is expected and won’t affect your test opportunities. If your birth year is correct, there’s nothing you need to update!
What should I enter for household income?
Household income is the total amount of money earned in a year before taxes by you and any family members you live with and share expenses with. Depending on your living situation, this could include the income of a spouse, partner, or adult relative.
Which web expertise option should I choose?
How do I fill out my employment information?
Your employment information should always reflect your current role. You may still participate in tests that require your previous work experience or tests that ask you for a specific skill set when you qualify for those tests through the screener process.
When customers screen for contributors from a particular industry or job role, they are typically looking for contributors who are currently employed in that field. It is your responsibility to make sure your employment information is accurate and up-to-date.
What if I have more than one job?
If you work more than one job, list the one you spend the most time doing. You may still be eligible for tests related to your other work through screener questions.
Which children should I list?
This field is intended for parents or legal guardians of children under 18. Please don't use this field for your siblings who are under 18. If you're uncomfortable sharing your children's ages, you can select Prefer not to provide details.
