Task based tests: How to install the browser extension

This guide will walk you through installing and setting up the browser extension for Task based tests. You can also download the extension directly from the Chrome Web Store

Get started

  1. When you arrive on the setup page, a message will prompt you to install the extension and share your screen. 

  2. Click Get started to begin.

Install the extension

  1. Click Install extension to open the extension page in a new window.

  1. Click Add to Chrome and then  Add extension to install it.

Confirm installation

  1. You'll receive a confirmation message once you’ve successfully installed the extension. Click Agree and continue to move to the next step.

Share your screen

  1. Click Share screen when prompted.

  1. Select your entire screen and then click Share.

Confirm your screen selection

  1. A pop-up will appear with screen options. Choose the screen you want to share and click Share. Please make sure you select the correct screen to avoid sharing any private information on your device.

Continue to the test

  1. After successfully sharing your screen, you’ll receive a welcome message. Click Get started to begin your test!
