Before you start a test for the first time, you have to allow the Seamless Desktop Recorder to access your microphone and camera.
You may have accidentally blocked this access during set-up. Review this article to learn how to reset these permissions so you can continue with your test.
How to reset permissions in Microsoft Edge
- Click the three dots on the browser window, and then click Settings.
- Click on Cookies and Site Permissions and then select the permission you need to reset (camera or microphone).
- In the Block section, click the trash can icon next to the UserTesting recorder. You'll be prompted to allow the microphone permission the next time you try to use our recorder.
